Hi.
I just posted a long story and why I wanted to know about this coral but it didn’t seem to post. So this is much shorter.
please please please
Help me to identify this coral!
I think it might be rare since it is a green “possible” ACAN and those are hard to find. This is like a dice with fluorescent sides. It’s taller and more squared than most ACAN’s.
I believe this is a rare type coral and just want some feedback. It is about 1 inch cubed all around. An inch wide high and deep. But when opened it has hairs and looks puffy and flows. I am attaching pics and a few vids and hope they post this time.
thanks a million!!!
Stoney

That’s actually a purple and green blasto, not an acan.

Wow, so this is mine and although green it will flatten out as it grows but stay nice and fluffy? Is this an expensive coral or still average? I see it opens at all levels and flow and light! It is beautiful. Thank you!!

Average price, but I think its gaining a little more popularity for the unusual color morphs. The standard morphs are red and greens.

I saw some stores are selling them for around $30-$40 per polyp.

Beautiful, but slow growing coral. Low to moderate flow and light works best for mine. And they are expensive in Canada
