I have a gigantic Dino outbreak after I killed off my cyano outbreak with chemiclean. What doesn’t make sense to me is my nutrients are over the roof. Nitrates at 20 and phosphate at 30 yet my tank is covered with Dinos.

They are being a huge problem for my zoas so I have decided to take this more seriously and microscope them. They mostly stay still but I have seen some that have spun around an axis. Which ones do I have? 673F2E0A-67F3-42C2-8CA7-B2ECC142D923.jpeg CC7102C3-E8FB-4253-89C9-E55C430B8193.jpeg

Filter socks yes
Thank you! The only filtration I have is a protein skimmer, should I use filter socks for these? If so what micron size?
and really do consider adding a hang on back refugium - not power filter

Actually now that I look at them again, seems to be ostreopsis which don’t move for some reason, AND small cell amphidinium. I guess Imma just treat it as if only ostreopsis is present
