Right now I’m letting GHA dominate as I fight LCA Dinos (plus free food for my tangs). I’ve had 2 massive blooms of pods (originally though some corals were spawning). The last bloom has my tank “infested” with these pods which are on all the rock work (I believe the same ones in glass are in rocks).

Corals the last 2 days have been irritated despite water parameters remaining consistent. I have not done a water change in over a month because I don’t want to feed the dinos with whatever is being depleted right now (iron?).

Looks more like some kind for white bug or flatworm to me. :thinking-face:

Ok, cool. I originally thought ostracods when I was searching similar posts, but wasn't sure. I'm guessing this is just from the GHA bloom and as they deplete the GHA they'll die off?
Yeah, they'll most likely self-regulate after a while.

They appeared pretty much over night. Really hoping they’re just pods. Just need help with some folks who have any idea to help ID then.
this may not help but here's white acro bugs on my acro. They are uber tiny, real hard to see.

But they're only on your acros and not on the rocks and glass predominantly?
Yeah, white bugs, red bugs, black bugs, etc. (coral-parasitic pods) will almost exclusively be found on their host corals. For more info on these and for some closer up pics/drawings:

Exactly. Just trying to rule that out for you. :)
Hope you are able to eradicate those. Guess I should be more happy about my "problem" lol.

BTW, how are you able to take such sharp pictures like that? Are you in the water?

I see copepods and spirobid worms which feed off of algae

Ostracods aka "Seed Shrimp" I've experienced the same thing and they eventually disappeared on their own. Never hurt any of my corals (SPS/LPS/Soft).

I dont believe Ostracods which are more flea like and I can say black and sliver sailfin mollies eat many of these little bugs. Dont look like grey or black bugs.
