I pretty much find it hard to find current music I like. Everything appears so cookie cutter like. The rock bands sound the same. I am 34 but I would much rather listen to the beatles, PF, Zep, and stuff like that over current music

Proud of ya'l knowing about the Dungeon Family! Big fan of Outkast and Goodie Mob, love the ATL rappers. My old friend from HS is Danny in Rehab, has worked with those guys. Ever heard "Drinking Problem"? Also, love Jane's Addiction, Jimi Hendrix, Spam All Stars, Bobby Hughes Experience, Tool, old Iron Maiden, James Brown, and just about anything with a good groove and heart to it. Oh yeah, I've done the Wig Dance at my share of Dead shows too!

I die hard for Led Zepplin, Kiss and Hendrix, but I listen to all rock. My girlfriend likes the Temptations and my fish enjoy the Red Hot Chili Pepers.

Dave Matthews Band is all time favorite. I have been to over 30 live shows. Right now I am really into Madcon & The Black Keys (not Crows - Keys :bigsmile: ) The have been staples on my iTunes of late.

Well my favorite band is Modern Skirts, but I doubt anyone here is familiar with them. They are really popular in the Athens, GA scene right now- Mike Mills from REM played with them at a show a couple weeks ago and they got to open for REM in Europe last summer. I also really like Drive-By Truckers who are a southern rock band from Athens. I find myself listening to a lot of Athens stuff since I can go hear that live more often.

I really enjoy most music to some extent. I don't really care for rap, but there are some exceptions. And my guilty pleasure is Hannah Montana :)

In terms of music sounds like I may be the oddball. I like Sufjan Stevens, Devendra Banhart, Damien Rice, Beirut, Iron and Wine. I consider my interest to be in raw and earthy music whose backbone borders on folk/blue grass inspired artists making low key rock music. :beat_shot:

I used to listen to them a lot. I've been to 5 or so shows, but for some reason moved away from them. I was listening to a Michael Houser song the other day and it made me want to listen to WP again.

I miss Michael Houser immensely. One of the best guitar players of our time. Used to see them at the Uptown Lounge in Athens and the Opera House in Milledgeville. Great times, would leave the shows drenched in sweat from dancing so much.

Me and my friend decided that we will go to a show this summer sometime, somewhere. We both used to love them. Her family is good friends with their producer so sometimes we get free tickets :)

I went to see a band from Chicago called Icy Demons last night on accident. But it was a good accident.
