What tang is this?

Big chance it is pale due to stress and still getting used to its new surroundings.

My money is still on striatus.
Maybe cyanocheilus.
I guess time will tell
 
A LFS, that I get my saltwater from when I’m lazy, labeled this a Eibli Mimic Tang.

And I told them in a British accent….

“Dear Sir, that would not be the proper name for this magnificent creature. This sir would be a Eibli Angle.”

Then some LOL’s were givens….

Well he’s in there with a whitetail bristletooth and all seems fine, hopefully it will stay that way

Im a bit late to this but…
If its like this, its a Ctenochaetus striatus - and don’t go by the brown colour, they can be everything from brown to grey depending on behaviour.

yeah definitely, that’s what I lm thinking now at this point, it’s getting prettier and prettier every day
