Just curious where everyone keeps their home temperature. I keep mine at 76°F year round, as it helps keep all my tank temps stable and saves on heater usage. What are your home temps in the summer and winter?
Our AC has not been able to keep up this last week here in sunny South Florida. Our thermostat is set at 78 but during the day it goes up to 82. Everything seems to be holding out fine. I do have a frag tank in the garage with absolutely no air-conditioning and it is 95°. Most of the Zoas are doing fine some stuff couldn’t handle it.
Apex says the Temp was between 78.9 and 80.4.
I have a fair amount of sps, lps, Zoas, leathers, and bubble tip anemones in a very full 90 gallons reef.

I tried to upload pictures of my tank and the Apex chart spot I don’t usually post here. The last couple of summers the hottest point I have battled some brown jelly but this year it has been less of an issue.

75 with low humidity is not too bad at all as long as you keep the air moving. Most all summer I can open up and turn on the house fan after 8pm and cool down real easy.

Summer AC is set at 80, it stays comfortable to cool, wood flooring helps I think. Winter is set at 69, pellet stove on thermostat, it comes on at 67 and off at 71. We leave the forced air heating off. High desert of CA, freezing to boiling.

Around 20-21c all year. It might go up a bit more than that during really hot summer days (at least hit for Sweden haha). I have a geothermal heating and cooling system that kept the temperature nice and steady

That's a good point, always forget about how much humidity impacts our perception of temps!

70 in the winter and 75 in the summer. I only need a heater in the winter for 6 months on 1 system.
2 systems are in the snake room thats kept 78-80. Tanks run 80° year round with no heaters.
We get a dry summer heat and its always close or above 100°.

My wife is always hot and I’m always cold. 71 year round but if im inside I have jeans on and a flannel. We have a fan and ceiling fan running at night and in the winter when its sub 30, after I fall asleep, my wife cracks the window. If it was up to me, 73 year round without fans.

83 in the summer. As cold as it wants to go in the winter in San Diego. Sometimes in the 50s. The real question is how high I want my electricity bill to be.
