What the what on my scoly

It's me again... I feel like I need a dunce hat ;Sour with this scoly I'm trying to salvage. I posted last week to ask about a hitchhiker which turned out to be just a sponge (ty @Crabs McJones)....but now I've got these super weird string looking growths?? I've never seen anything like them in my tank before or in pictures but I may not be searching the correct term, I have no idea what to even call them.

Can anyone help??

So those string looking things are sponges too? One side has the single poofy sponge and the other side has all these string things - it's all part of the same "network" of sponges?

different types, but yes all sponges. The new ones are commonly found between zoanthids and it bothers them and makes them stay closed up. They can generally be blasted away with a turkey baster.

Remove them, the scoly is more important than the sponges ;)
