What to do with a prisoner of war?

Just took out another one from my system, probably under 1mm, I think that they may form male/female pairs as I've only ever found 2 at most per coral and one always tends to be much larger than the other.

I think I've gotten all the large individuals out of my system (which I assume are all females)

Going to close the expirament, I've found that they can stay alive for over a week without a food source, maybe even 2 weeks! Can't get my hands on a frag that I'm willing to sacrifice so I'll be preserving the individuals in ethyl alcohol for further study

As it turns out Red Sea test tubes are the perfect size for preserving a sea spider. Couldn't find the second one but here's the larger individual! I'll update you when I have macro photos

Recently got a nice coral photography lens set and it turns out that they work great for sea spider macro shots! I'll get more photos in the morning with better lighting

Critter (hitchhiker) ID (shrimp?) please

Came in on a frogspawn frag. Little dude seems a bit banged up in this video after the dip forced him out. He is in an observation box in the DT (can’t get out). Could grab another vid if need be. Looked a bit like a juvenile coral banded shrimp to me but I really don’t know!
