Iv had a 6ft tank setup for 2 years know so rock is all mature and coraline algae over it! But also have vermit snails and aptasia over rock! iv got shut of most of coral and fish are being moved into a holding tank ready for bigger setup! Is there a way i can 100% kill all this with a treatment in tank or get rock out and soak in something but not kill all the good bacteria so i can use again in next tank as live rock but not have these pests come back!

thanks

These have gone up in cost and are easy to clean
I’d either hang on to them for the future or clean and sell

how would you clean to get rid of pests and keep bacteria!
I’d place in tub with ruby rally which is reef safe

Maybe you can starve them out. Put in a brute with nothing but a pump and a heater and dose quikcycle ammonia every so often. Even better yet add a protein skimmer and also dose kz coral snow.
