What to do with used acrylic??

I dont know if this is the right forum, but I have a used 300 gallon custom acrylic tank. One of the seams was splitting so it had to be drained and replaced, it is made with 3/4" acrylic.

Does anybody have any idea what I can do with this?? Can it be sold for scrap or salvage?? I know that the material alone is worth at least 3K, but I have know idea if there is a market for this.

It can definitely be repaired or used to make other tanks by someone who is handy with acrylic, but I dont know where to start. I was hoping somebody else had an experience with something like this. Thanks.

someone might want to play with it but i wouldnt recommend it.... if one seam popped all are in question.... acrylic tanks should last a life time there is only 2 things that can cause this...
#1 bad material..
#2 poor construction...
there is no other varibles involved in acrylic tanks if it was constructed with high grade materials such as acrylite "gp" plexiglass "g" or polycast and contsturcted in a professional manner with the right glues there is no way possible for it to just pop.... by saying proper construction i mean using the right materials for the acrylic, glue, and thickness.... under built it will pop also... 3/4" sounds good for a 300 depending on the demensions of it......

Thanks, well it was definitely poor construction, the manufacturer said they hadnt seen something like this happen in 13 years of tank-building, even thought that does me no good. The seam started to split after being fine with the tank running for 5 years. Its a "bullet" tank so my thought was to cut the "bullet" off at the seams and make it a rectangular tank. But that is for someone with experience to do.
