Put the clams in whole?
Ideally you want them on the half shell so the CBB can pick at it. You may be able to get away with leaving it a little bit cracked open so the CBB could get it's mouth in but it's easier just to crack it all the way open, so I wouldn't bother. They should look like this - minus the plate, lemons, and tartar sauce :p

i do a combo of mysis, brine, and reef frenzy.
i feed them 10 times a day, big belly, happy and healthy for 3 months already

Lol yeah I meant chop it up any after ya shuck it lol

I tried chopping it up vs just leaving it whole after shucking and honestly haven't noticed a difference. It seems the CBB is pretty talented - in conjunction with the other tank mates - in making it "bite sized" pretty quickly. Even if the CBB can't get it all on the first pass, usually by the second pass it's small enough to eat.
