What type of algae is this, its slimy, not hairy on the rocks, but some of it is a little stringy on some coral frags that have exposed rock on the frag plug.

I noticed it bloom very fast and heavy after I started using Nitrifying bacteria for a week.

0 Nitrates
0 Phosphates
SG 1.025
Temp 77

Some people say its green coraline, some of it has receded, and it left behind some fluorescent white on the rocks, which is why I think it's coraline. but I can't be sure.

Photos were taken with lights off, but flash on phone to give you a true color of what it looks like.

I started dosing Sodium Nitrate today to try to get my nitrates to 10-20 and see if it helps.

ONE THING TO NOTE, IT'S ONLY GROWING WHERE LIGHT HITS, kinda cool cause I know where the "highlight" points of the rocks are so I can coral place later for reference.

Looks like film algae. It’s completely normal and a natural progression in a reef tank.

Add tuxedo urchins and Mexican turbo snails.

Yes. It’s usually temporary. Your tank’s off to a great start. Nice aquascape.
