Thanks! Makes sense. I will reach out...need to fill my tank with SW first. Have it set up and plumbing is done. Next step is aquascaping and then getting it wet.

Thingiverse.com is for sharing 3D design. Anyone can download the design and 3D Print it themselves. Some library have 3D printer for people to print as well. If you need it and can't find someone to print locally, I can print it for you. Just give me the shipping charge will do.

I have MH but interested in changing. Got $600 to spend on a 125 gallon tank. Was considering T5 Bad Boy 8 lights. I am open to suggestions if I can get something better for the cash. Tank is 72 inches long.

I have been using two GHL Mitras LX 6200HV on my 105 gallon now for a year and half with better results then my metal halides also running one GHL Mitras LX 6200HV on my 10 gallon...(originally the LED's were running on a 210 gallon and sold it and set up the 105 gallon and will be selling it, so I figured why let the one collect dust, that is why it is on the 10 gallon.

Most current FTS

This is from upgrade day. so you can see the lights. Everything in my 120 was in my old 60 cube + 20 long frag tank system.

The day before moving day, you can see the 60 + 20 system behind the 120.

First off welcome to R2R!
Curious as to how many you are running?
I have 2 over my 120 (4 × 2 × 2). Running a 14 - 15k spectrum at 100% wasn't really giving me the par I needed. Already had 4 x t5 lying dormant in my canopy from my last lighting setup so i turned them on and now I have the par I need and great color as well. (2 ati blue+ and 2 coral+).
I'd probably need at least another Mitras if not two to get the par I'd want and need. I certainly love the colors from the Mitras alone. That along with the spread and color mixing. If they weren't so expensive.
Vow.
Mine sits around 5 inches above the water (inside a canopy) and run at blues at 100% but whites at Max of 40%
Lowest K is 15 but that's for a couple of hours, rest is all in 20k

I've had far better colour compared to Kessils

Don't have a par meter - but managed to bleach out 2 monti frags very quickly (bought from someone using t5)
