Hello all! piecing together my first reef tank. I ended up going with a waterbox 65.4 and went with reef breeder meridian 35 14k. So now for the pumps. I got the sicce sdc 3.0 for the return pump. what wave maker/s or power heads would you go with? I would like to go with the mp's but they are so freakin expensive! I was thinking nero 5's on each end. then i saw the tunze turbelle pumps would be cool because they have the ability to move flow where ever. But in such a narrow tank probably wont need to. hmmm any other opinions or anyone have a similar setup what are you guys using? This is my scape so far. thank you guys in advance!

I like my pair of icecap gyres.
Good luck, there are lots of choices and its not an easy decision.

Are you planning to use any controller? If so which one? Some brands play nicer with certain controllers.

do you think 1 gyre 4k would be enough flow? Its about 12 inches long so i was thinking i can even angle one side down to get behind rock work and the other up infront of the rocks hmmm

Anything Tunze or Reef Octopus Octo Pulse 2 or 4.

For your tank, 2 Pulse 2s would be enough.

Jebao dmp mp clones work well if you want that look and less cost.
Tunze powerheads.
Jebao powerheads.
Hygger crossflow.
I run all 3 above and they all work well.
