Can I run sicce syncra 3.0 return pump with hydros Wave engine LE?

Hey guys not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but here it goes. i was planning on getting the

Reef Octopus OCTO Pulse 2 With WaveEngine LE & 2nd Pump+Cable Bundle​

It comes with 2 pulse pumps and the wave engine. I was wondering if i would be able to aslo connect my sicce syncra 3.0 return pump to the hydros app. I am planning on running the sicce on its own outlet but i think I read I would be able to connect the pump via cloud? is that a thing? down the road I was planning on buying a hydros x4 or something when I have the re$ources.

The Sicce SDC 3.0 can be setup as a 3rd party device on a Hydros. I use one with my Hydros collective. Also below is the output settings I have setup after adding it as a 3rd party device. It uses the Sicce server to control the pump. There is a limit to how many changes are made in a given time but with a return pump that should not be an issue. The only issue might be if you have the WE LE only since it cannot be a wifi master but if you have another Hydros controller in a collective with it then it will not be an issue.

It will still run the other pumps without being a wifi master. It can run as a stand alone with pumps hooked to the direct drive ports. It just won't control the wifi power strips or plugs. I am not sure about the Sicce on it but you can always use the Sicce app to control it till you get the second controller. An XP8 is a controller and can be used as a wifi master. It has 8 AC outlets as the only ports so if you want to control the outputs with inputs you would need a controller with the needed inputs. They do sell the X4 Pro Pack that is a X4, XP8, 2 terminator, pH probe, temp sensor and a command bus cable. You just need another command bus cable to add in the WE LE into a collective with the X4 and XP8. When the controllers are in a collective they share all inputs and outputs with the collective. The collective acts like one large controller with all inputs and outputs of it's member controllers. So you can control an output port on one controller with the ports on other controllers in the collective.

Thank you so much for your input! It’s greatly appreciated!! It’s funny you mentioned the x4 pro pack that was the exact one combo I was looking into! Hopefully I won’t have to wait a year until next Black Friday to get one lol but I’m definitely going to go with the octo pulse 2’s with the LE in the short term!
