Hi All,

My rockwork is about 9 months old. I built it with IO putty and CA glue. Over time much of the rock has fallen apart from brushing algae and general maintenance. I plan to re attach the rockwork but am not impressed with the IO putty and want to try a cement like product. AF Stone fix is on sale and I need to place an order for other supplies anyway. I understand it will raise PH and probably drive my skimmer nuts. But will it hurt my fish and/or corals while it cures? Should I expect to have to do a large waterchange after?

The only concern with AF Stone fix is that I think you will have to take it out of water for better results. The mix itself can be kind of watery and can be difficult to work with if you do it in water.

As for the pH and waterchanges, if you do only a small portion a day you should be fine.
