If there was anything that could make you leave the hobby what would it be?

hearing about another new "LE Tyree coral"
Sorry but it drives me crazy to see this guy get credit for mother natures work

Well I almost left the hobby 8 weeks ago. My mother had 3 strokes and I have been caring for her. Needless to say my tank was put on the back burner and it went to the pits. I told my wife I was gonna break it down and sell it all. She convinced me to downsize to a smaller tank that has been sitting in the garage for a few months. I did the swap on friday and everything turned out great. Probably my favorite tank out of the last 5 I have done.

I would have to say either severe illness where I could no longer take care of my tank or severe financial hardship.

My first thought was if I had to move somewhere with no room for a tank but there is always room for a small nano.

Quit drinking that Hater-ade..
no hater-ade here, just the plain truth did tyree make the oceans and reefs in which the corals grow? NO
when the day comes that someone can give me a reason as to why he should be able to market a coral and make the price go through the roof then ill retract my post.
Again no hate here its just a pet peeve of mine

Family first.
If addicts like us would stop buying, Tyree would just be like any normal name out there :)

Haha I agree he could be dosing the tank with his pee!
