I've had problems with flatworms in biocube 29 for about a month. I've tried flatworm exit which does kill them, but I've had trouble with getting rid of all of them. They come right back in a week or less. I would like to get a wrasse to help control the flatworms. I realize this will not eliminate the problem but I'm just looking for something to help keep their numbers down. So, I'm looking for a reef safe, peaceful wrasse that would do well in a 30 gallon tank. Also I only have 1 medium sized clownfish right now. I like the scarlet pinstripe and if you have any experience with it, I'd love to hear about it. I did some research, and found that I was pretty limited, but I thought you guys might have some ideas. Thanks for Help!!!

Choices are a bit limited with the tank size, but I'd look towards Pseudocheilinops ataenia (Pink streak). A 29 isn't large enough for the Halichoeres species which would do a better job at this.

Thanks for the replies! I'll look into those fish. Do you think the 29 gallon would be too small for the scarlet pin stripe wrasse?

It's a bit boarderline, but you'd probably be okay.

I will caution: wrasses of the Pseudocheilinus genus have a tendency to become rather aggressive, especially so to any additions after they've become established.

Blue Velvet Slug. Pass it on to another hobbyist when done.

I have heard that the six line wrasses will eat those worms. I have a six line and he is very hungry always looking for something to munch on!
