Whats an acceptable phosphate level?

Hey everybody my Hanna Checker is reading a level of .36 phosphates. My question is what is an acceptable level? I know ideally 0 is what we shoot for but in a real world I'm not sure that's possible. Opinions? Thanks!

Depends who you talk too, but generally less than .03 ppm.

0 is not good because everything needs phosphate to live.

Also phosphate is very hard to measure for because it is being consumed and most test kits or equipment only measure ortho-phosphate so if you get a reading then it usually is much higher than your reading..

Most folks strive for .03 or below. IMO, .36 is EXTREMELLY high.

are you using biopellets?
