What's causing my alk drop?

you don't want to do too much too soon and shock your system more than it is right now. i did 10% every 4 days but i have a 120 gallon system.

I thought rule of thimb was 10 percent water change weekly. I am religious about that and 1 year in never had a problem.
that all depends on your tanks consumption, but pretty much on point for the most part.

Water changes are dictated by tank parameters and conditions. looks lime you found your sweet spot. Good job! :)

I'm going to do a quick 10% today to adjust mag a little and hopefully settle things a bit. New salt arrives this week and I'll do 10% weekly and keep an eye on parameters
