What does your lighting and flow look like?

What are the rest of your parameters, and what are you using to test?

How is everything else in your tank?

Full tank shot?

Anything that could be bothering it?

How old is your tank?

I would recommend a nitrate and phosphate test kit to make sure you have nutrients available in the water for your LPS. More shots of the other corals and tank might help.

Looks like some detritus accumulating on the rock on the right side? Maybe flow is lacking?

it could be flow i have changed it and is fully closed up now but we shall see 2morrow going through a GHA problem atm the turbo snails are helping as well as manual removal

i will get the testers but unsure of which i do not like hanna they are extremely inaccurate and read daft readings for me

They will fatten when flow to high, they have trapped a food item, or light decreaers.

Not sure how your going to do without N and P management as these values and their stability is crucial

Can try salifert. Inexpensive and you don't need crazy accurate, just to make sure there is a reasonable level and it stays in a high/low zone you want. I use Hanna as I like the ease and numbers vs trying to match color on a chart. Never had any issues with inaccuracy or strange readings but they do cost considerably more.

i have had hanna nitrate reading 300ppm in a 2 month cycled tank (i diluted to get the result) this was after 2x 100% water changes
Hanna nitrite reading 27ppm (on a different tank to the 300ppm tank)
the hanna ammonia checker still reads 1.12ppm on my 5 month old tank with fish swimming around in it

i just dislike them

although the hanna phosphate i have never had problems with so i may get this 1
