What's growing on my Frogspawn??

So just got this frogspawn coral and it has this dark red stuff growing on the side can anyone tell me what it is and should I be concerned about it? And what is it? It looks to me like its red almost velvet like with what looks like veins running through it??

It's probably just a sponge of some sort. In most cases these are harmless, but there are certain varieties that can smother corals. I don't think you have anything to worry about, but definitely keep your eye on it.
