I got my first corals 4 days ago a pulsing xenia and a frogspawn, they look happy to me although the pulsing xenia I've only seen pulsing once..is it not happy?
I noticed this morning what looks like a little bit of the frogspawn coral nearby in the rock. Its moving in the flow but it doesnt look too rough and I've not seen any fish go near it...any idea what has happened ir what I should do?

Sometimes frogspawn will do polyp basil out like other corals. I don’t believe anyone has had the piece that bails survive though.

The rest of the frogspawn looks happy though.

As far as the Xenia you may never really see it pulse if it’s in decent flow. Mine sit there and sway only to pulse when I do a water change since there’s 0 movement in the tank.

Honestly, I would leave everything alone. The main colony looks great! If it keeps happening, then you may want to look for problems but sometimes, coral just do weird things.
