Hello, I received this blasto last Tuesday and today I noticed this black looking thing on the skeleton. It's having no other issue, it's opening up fully and has eaten. It closed up cause it's mad that I picked it up. The tissue around looks healthy, I'm just worried that it might be sick or something. Any ideas?

Hard for to tell. When I zoom in it gets really blurry. Maybe someone else will know.
Yeah, sorry the pics were taken with my phone. I'm charging the DSLR with the macro lens to provide a better pic.

if you can take it out an try to blow it off looks like an infection the flesh is seperating from the skeleton. many ways to take care of that I myself would do a light h202 10-15 mins others may use iodine but you have what looks like cyano/dino aswell

Yeah I can take it out. How much H2O2 would you mix in with how much saltwater? Yes, I have a small bloom of amphidinium dinos that I am currently fighting, I let my NO3 and PO4 drop to 0. Any advise is welcome. Thank you!

@DDenny @zuri Hope these are better. A local hobbyist recommended an iodine dip.

Looks like a vermetid to me. I had one in a similar spot on my blasto. Crush it, then put superglue or putty over the mouth to starve it.

Looks like possible injury and the flesh as scraped off. Now you might have algae and or bacteria in there. If its algae then a little hydrogen peroxide on a Q-tip and lightly bush that are a then flush with fresh saltwater might help.
