$125 for a two headed gold torch, most vendors at MACNA wanted $125 per head. I was worried about driving it 4 hours back to Pensacola in a soft sided cooler and it acted like it was going to die for about two weeks, but it eventually pulled through and is doing very well now.

The thing I'm most dissapointed about now is not owning a coral saw so I can recap my cost when it grows more heads haha

Sad part I'll can do some pics. I literally lost half of those. Jumped prematurely. Lost my jaw dropper yesterday. I'll post pic of skeleton later.

I don't pay attention to price. Ortherwise I'd want to quit. I just figure only the strong survive.

Since I got the KH controller rolling. Most everything is thriving. Except my jaw dropper. I left it there in hopes some life was left behind.

1350 for jaw dropper.
900 for JF homewrecker
5000 for 20 frags from Tony at Reef Raft.
400 for Matt v rainbow envy

At the end of the day, some of my 20-60 frags make me smile.

I know the feeling. My joe the coral looks fantastic and I have confetti, SC OP, Walt Disney, etc.

It’s comforting to know I’m not the only acroholic. The most I’ve spent is $600 for the JF homewrecker I received yesterday from Reefersdirect.com. I’ve spent $4000 on frags with all the recent live sales and all the frags look just like the pics they posted under my 18k spectrum.

I paid $90 for an elegance! It was amazing and beautiful! And while my in-laws were keeping the tank, they told me a little too late that it was not doing well, so I lost it. Hopefully I can have another one some day! I loved that thing!

Also would love to get into SPS and clams . . . so the budget is about to need to increase! :)

I will not spend more than $50 on a coral. Us southern california people are spoiled... We have everything for 1/2 price of what others spend. Walt Disney for $80 is a rip off, for example..

A Frag that small is very hard to keep.
But when you grow it out put me in line for a Frag.

My other piece was about the same size. Grew pretty fast to 3/4". Than my tank started to deteriorate. I switched all coral to 190 from RS reefer 170. The corals that were receding in the reefer just kept receding in 190. The ones that were sitting still are now growing like weeds. All measurements for were swinging in the 170.

All in all, I bust my butt for my bucks. I like nice guns and coral. So I buy.
