Well, one of my newly acquired frags of purple montipora is kind of like dying from the middle.
Its stuck to a rock on the backside and hence I cannot take it off the rock to inspect closer.

But this is what it looks like. There's another montipora just adjacent to it and its absolutely fine.
So what causes the montipora to loose tissue from the middle ?

1. Nudis - But I can't spot any yet ..
2. I moved it higher in the tank under halides after a week of acclimation which might have caused it ?
3. The monti by its side is stinging it at night . But then it should impact the side.

Help needed ...

Regards,
Abhishek

Looks like it got stung. Any LPS near it with sweepers?
