A good rule of thumb is no SPS until you see good coralline algae growth. If you are done with your cycle and want corals, I’d recommend starting with some zoas or other softies, but slowly. Patience is key!
When your tank is ready LOL I agree with stylolvr, wait until you have some good coralline growth, then try something like a Montipora digitada, or a Montipora capricornis, and see how it goes. Wait until you see new growth on the Monti before moving forward with additional SPS.
ideally you should wait but if u want u can test it out with some cheap and easy sps like stylo or birdnest. Go on offerup or facebook and you can get a frag for like 10 bucks maybe. I got a stylo and monti for free even. Its really your call on whether or not u want to test it out.
Lot of people having success with SPS much earlier on when using live rock.
Are your parameters stable?
Once they're stable, why not try a piece?
IMO, a monti cap is a great tester.
