Start it like u would normally set up a system but could jump start it w some live rock and bottled bac. And let it go. Pods would help as it goes through the uglies. But I used live rock in all mine so…

Doesn’t really matter if the tank is cycled but I would wait until after ugly phase so algae, dinos, cyano, whatever is not killing your coral.
