When does Galaxia lay down more skeleton?

When I first for this piece as a freebie from ASD it had a small skeleton it was retracted into. It is now starting to grow more quickly now that I have moved it into high flow. It seems to be growing more like a mat like GSP would

It’s Galaxea, when it gets happy I will grow fast. Be careful it will sting most thing to death. I got a frag 4 years ago, got really big, grew up side of tank. I loved it but it killed everything in its path. One day it died and my tank hasn’t been right since then.
