Right now i am FOWLR on a newly established tank. I added 2 clownfish yesterday and will add more fish as I can. Right now I have a lamp nearby that is on during the day and turn it off at night. I am looking at getting (2) XR15 Blues, but its quite the expense. I will certainly be adding coral in the future.

So I guess another question. When can I start adding a couple frags?

Well, theoretically, you can add corals as soon as your system in cycled. but, without proper reef lighting, they won't last.

This post is a couple weeks old now, but I ended up getting (2) xr15's and only running the lights a few hours a day. I have coral QT setup right now with a brain coral and acan that im going to QT for a bit. Its crazy how many critters come off when you do the dip! (just did it a couple hours ago)
