And it comes in a box clearly labeled “THIS SIDE UP,” but the UPS person hands it to you sideways.... is it a miracle that any fish make it to us alive?? I really this so.

IMO UPS has gone down hill. I have had so many packages arrived damaged to my customers homes vs. using Fedex.... I'm sick of making claims.

I agree. I’ve had quite a few packages come damaged lately as well. I actually had one product reshipped after arriving damaged the first time and even though the vendor complained to ups, the reship was damaged as well. It was not a packaging issue either, just super rough handling. Pretty disappointing.

10 years ago, had a cousin work loading the tractor trailers(UPS), in Socal. I'll just say, they all love football.

I can agree with this thread... My brother used to work for UPS during the holidays he works as a golf pro during the summer in Salt Lake City. He said the same thing they just throw everything in those trailers. I worked for a large supplier to NAPA auto parts and we have 4-5 skids of UPS that are 6ft tall go to them every day and they are stacked and packed nicely and taped well but we still have customers that receive packages that it looks like the driver sat on them all the way to the persons house.

Hate to agree with You Folks. I'm a retired 30 year ups guy. I agree that packages aren't handled with care ! They run so many packages thru their sorting facility the workers don't have the time to be careful. At the end I worked with a team that visited manufactures & discuss their packing methods. They were trying to make the customer improve instead of slowing down the sorting so the guys/gals could be more careful .
All about the money !

I can believe this is true. Especially with online shopping at an all time high, I’m sure all of these companies are busier than ever. Just wish companies would hire appropriate amounts of staff and care about quality as well as profit. It’s sad and definitely not limited to shipping companies.
