Our club wants to do a group buy of frozen reef/fish food. Many seller are wholesale only. Where can we get reasonable priced frozen reef/fish food at a discount to be dispersed within the club? Thanks!

#WelcometoR2R!!! You can always reach out directly to LRS, Rods, or other frozen food supplier to see if they are willing to work with your club - it doesn't hurt to ask the question. Good luck!

Make your own!

In the past, our local fish club would make food at one of our monthly meetings, or a group of us (8 - 12 folks), would get together and make up a batch and split it. For the most part, we followed Eric Borneman's recipe. You can see that recipe HERE. This isn't rocket science, and we would change this recipe up, dependent on availability of what we would find/purchase.

Welcome to Reef2Reef
Another thought; you can bulk buy ingredients and make your own blend of food, so you dont have to pay a retailer's premium :)

Edit: redfishbluefish beat me to it

Good suggestion. I'm still in the process of calling and emailing some of the wholesalers. Some require a brick and mortar. :-(

Some members use the components to make their own concoction. Others just buy the cubes and feed them directly (no hassle). I'm just trying to provide the resources to club members.
