There are at least two versions floating around... one is very subpar. This image is of the best. Vivid blue (almost oregon tort level) with polyps that resemble a flame. The other is more of a common rainbow tenuis. I think but can't confirm that its lineage is TGC whereas the better of the two is RRU and/or RRC via ARC. This is one of the more questionable lineage acros out there, 2nd to maybe Jawdropper.

As a follow-up, if you want some highly-coveted green slimer frags that have been kept under all blues, @SeaDweller and @ScottB have a bunch of pieces that are readily available.

The spectrum was shifting on my older 52 hds and 1/3 of the prime 16 hd leds burned out.
That isn’t good. You’re using 2 x G6 XR15 now? How is that.

I’m using a G5 Blue xr30 over a slightly smaller display than yours (Red Sea XL200).

Not as well as I would of liked. Really disappointed in the par and overall “look”. It’s weird that the par is much lower but I have several corals that have a “bleached”look. I also can’t seem to get decent pics with these lights either.

There’s definitely a few versions floating around, TGC, 2 possible RRU versions and the RRC version. I had the TGC version years ago, I got a chunk that wasn’t colored up from a guy but that was shortly before I had my legendary fire/tank crash. A few people have told me Tony lost the original one and replaced it with the new version. I’ve had what is thought to be angry birds 2.0 directly from Tony which is more of the purple/ blue with red polyps. I’ve heard TSA is thought to be the only known source with the original one with the blue and flame like polyps. I also had a frag of the RRC version from ARC that was light blue with orange polyps but like @therman I lost it after slowing encrusting.

Weird. Did Ecotech go with a wider (spread) design to get rid of hotspots? How does PAR look at 100% across the board?

About 275-350 across the top with the AB+ at 100%

Some acros look better than ever and some have tissue necrosis and others look just like they did a month ago with the old lights
