I've been trying to figure out what's the best place for my power heads and flow direction. Where do you guys have yours? I'm trying to get this right.

What size tank? What kind of corals?

Avoid direct flow right at a coral, let the water bounce of walls, rock or into other flow of water. Get some movement at the surface. I normally place pH 1/3 of the way up and adjust from there. If it's a gyre, place a few inches below water line.

I point my returns to the back of the tank . This prevents build up in back of tank . I then have two power heads on side almost point at each other but one is a little higher than the other. I then have two power heads in back corners pulsing towards the middle of the tank. Flow is great no areas not covered
