where do zoas do better

i have a aquatic life t5 fixture.
i was wondering if zoas would be fine on the sand bed?

how deep is your tank? which aquatic life t5 quick google search show at lease a couple.

the sand bed is about 2 ft from the lights.

I have a lot of different Zoa, they are all different some like it shaded some like being blasted with light I just place them toward the bottom and watch them over days or weeks and slowly move them higher in the tank . Works for me .
