Where else to get snails from

Good afternoon everyone, and Happy Friday. So as the title implies, I am looking for somewhere else to order CUC from. I have always gone to Reef Cleaners, but apparently they no longer offer free shipping. They went from Free shipping on anything over $50. to anything over $75. and now not at all unless you get one of their packages. SO I am in search of somewhere else to use when restocking my CUC. Thank you in advance from everyone.

Cost to ship is high. Reef cleaners is the best imo

Any lfs around? I have a couple that stock a lot of snails, crabs, shrimp and urchins. Not sure of any place that offer free shipping. Many vendors loose money on shipping from what I've read.

Yeah I have always liked them, but If I am buying $100. in a variety of tank cleaners, I would think they could help with the shipping like they always have. But I guess it's a sign of the times.

I recently put in an order with them. I don't recall what I paid for shipping. It will arrive on Tuesday. Last order I got from them last year, some of the snails had hitchhikers on them and so they went into a QT tank (that tank is full of pests). Several were just empty shells, showing whoever pulled them paid no attention. This is my last time trying with them. I will let you know. I feel I am being really dumb ordering from them again. Following to see where everyone else is shopping now.

I've only ever used reeftopia. Not near the selection John has but they have what I need without the attitude. I think you'll find their prices make shipping alot easier to swallow if you don't cross the threshold.

That’s who I use. The snails come dry, but I haven’t had a problem.

I got some snails from Reef By Steele with my last phyto and copepod order. They came just fine and free shipping over $40. The selection is small, but they were quality...

OK so I almost forgot to respond. Got my order from Reef Cleaners. Great! All the snails were algae and hitchhiker free (spionid worms) and all alive. Also ordered a Fire Shrimp totally forgetting I already ordered another one from a different vendor. Shrimp is happy as a clam...shrimp. So I am not regretful. HOWEVER, I ordered some pods from a new vendor and USPS totally screwed it all up. Contacted Florida Reef Labs, they reached out and said if they don't arrive by Saturday they will DOA them and reship! Great customer service!

Ooops spoke too soon they shorted me a bottle of phyto. I have the worst luck. I am gearing up to grow my own very soon. So hopefully won't have to play these stupid games for long.

Reef Cleaners has a very vast selection and the order I got from them last winter was about 90 snails...all healthy. It looks like they are only shipping overnight now...that would be the high cost.
Possible solution: see if there are other people in your local area that may want to order as well. Split the shipping cost; several ways.
