Hi
So i traded my breeding pair of cardinals with a fellow hobbyist to these to hammer frags (picture) and would like to mount them without the plug. However where to can i cut? Is all the dark part of the skeleton dead?
Also what tool should i use. I have no fragging experience and no special tools

I wouldn't cut them, they look fine. I use a dremal with a cutting disc to frag my colonies

More than likely they will snap right off the plug where they are glued with a bit of force from your hands.
