Where to get clowns.

So I have always loved clowns and had them in my tank. I just set up a QT so I am starting to get on the right track. Where is a good place to buy paired designer clowns? I want some that are already male/female and paired, which could possibly breed. Thanks!

I personally work with every customer to make sure they get the clowns they want and have no problems. As far as you wanting two clowns that are paired already... I work with people everyday that are set on buying a pair of clowns and I try and teach them that pairing clowns yourself is not hard at all. It's a natural process that pretty much happens on its own. There are of course a few tips I can give you to make sure you are successful. The first step is to call my shop or send me an email to ask me about the clowns you like. I'll look at them in person and give you my professional opinion. I also think many 'paired' clownfish are actually mislabeled. In my experience it can sometimes take years to successfully pair clownfish. So companies that sell clownfish that have been introduced to each other the week before and call them paired are not really paired clownfish. Especially if you have intentions of breeding them in the future the skill of pairing is something you might want to learn. I can help to teach you just hit me up!

I would suggest supporting the sponsors here on Reef2Reef first ;) Plus I personally think its better to select two individual fish you like and make a custom pair. Whenever I see a pair of clowns I always like one of the fish in the pair and not the other. Its just easier to choose two that you like and put them together yourself :)
