I'm coming to the Stamford-Norwalk area for a few days from AZ and looking for advice on any stores I should check out? Also does anyone have any recommendations on anything else I should check out besides reef stores.

I'm not from that area but I know there's a guy on Facebook AC Corals who sells out of his house. Might want to touch base with him and see if there's anything there that you'd be interested in.

Directly in the area not sure, about 45-50 mins north in Meriden CT is Bkakes aqua Den.

Definitely House of Fins. Last time I went for their Splash event they had a Dr Seuss fish, conspicuous angelfish and wrought iron butterfly. I think their display tank is 600 gallons. Whole separate building they sell tanks out of. Reefbuilders has featured some of their stuff.
Greenwich Aquaria is worth a stop as well.

Made it by House of Fins, very impressive collection of both fish and corals. I'm trying to talk myself into and out of buying the Kingi Angelfish!

I really like NY Aquatic in Yonkers. Tons of tanks, and lots of unique fish. Definitely not as bougie as Greenwich Aquaria , but a cool shop never the less
