Hi all,

Thinking about ordering some carbon soon and was wondering what you guys use and like? Is the ROX carbon worth the extra cost?

Awesome. Why rox? Have you tried and/or compared anything else?

Chemipure Elite is good stuff as well!!! It has GFO in it!

It is good! But I stopped buying the elite after randy ran test on it and said how well the gfo really works and last, Just isn't worth the extra money for the elite imo.

I used Marineland black diamond for years with good success. I bought some BRS ROX for this time around to try. Interesting test with carbon is to let some soak in RO/DI water for a day or so and test the phosphate. Eye opening with some.

Rox for me. Its the cleanest out of the container and doesnt require near the amount of rinsing other types do. It is small and messy but I just put it in a media bag in the reactor to avoid dealing with it getting into the sump, and having to deal with the mess of changing it out in the reactor.
