So I am probably in the minority here, but I like to leave a very faint shimmer on all night. Call me crazy, but I believe it helps the fish know where they are and if they venture out, they can at least find the way back to their respective homes. I had a reefbreeders Photon paired with an AquaIllumination T5 fixture. I just added two Kessil A360 Tuna's and was shocked to see that the intensity can't go less than 5% - which still leaves the tank pretty bright!
I want to look at adding a small LED strip or something to the T5 fixture that will provide an incredibly small amount of blue light that'll stay on overnights. Does anyone have any recommendations or can show me what they've done with theirs.
