Which Rabbit fish would be best

I have a 105g tank that is 4 ft long 2 feet deep. Unfortunately I had some grape caulerpa in my Sump that has gotten and growing in my main tank. I have a bristletooth tang that is somewhat aggressive especially with any new fish. I was thinking of getting a one spot foxface but haven't seen it available in some time only the the foxface lo
Or I'm thinking of trying the two barred rabbit

An orange spot rabbit fish would be a perfect edition imo. It eats all types of algae except bryopsis, it even eats bubble algae. It is a very tame fish with no sorts of aggression and got along with all my different fish including tangs and triggers. There are various variations of the orange spot rabbit but the one i included a picture of is the one I've had the most succes with as far as having no aggression towards any of the other fish, it grazes on algae that the tangs don't prefer, it eats anything you feed it, basically its a great addition to any reef where you don't want the fish your adding having any type of aggression and is also very hardy. Heres a pic of the one that I've found to be perfect for its intended purpose and has all the good characteristics that won't give you any unwanted results.

Foxface lo is very similar to the one spot .
they are generally shy , timid but have venom to defend themselves , not much will mess with them for long .

Mine eats seaweed , cucumber , spinach , and grazes at what ever grows in the dt

Yes but they tend to grow larger

Yea that is why I haven't tried it

4 feet is too short for any foxface. I have a one spot in a 4 foot tank and he paces occasionally.

I think more of an issue than the size might be the existence of an already aggressive Tang. I had to remove my Kole tang due to aggression towards any algae eating fish, including my One Spot.

Oh really? What size would you expect your One Spot to reach / how long have you had him for?

Would a 5ft tank be good for one?

HB Al, I just bought an orange spot that’s about 3 inches long. The young guy at LFS told me he’s almost fully grown, but after I got home I saw they grow to 10 inches or longer. I have a 50 gallon tank now with 2 clowns. How soon will my tank size become a problem?

I just purchased this same exact fish. It’s about 3 inches now. The guys at my LFS told me that it’ll grow just a big larger, not much. Only after I got home and done some research I realized it’s going to be 10+ inches. I have a 50 gal tank with 2 clowns (and some other fish planned). How soon will this fish’s size become a problem for me?

It's not gonna grow in a tank to 10+ inches, it might stop growing at some point soon unless it goes into a bigger tank then it will grow some more.

LFS guy is really wrong in this case, unfortunately. Your research is correct.

Depending on the dimensions of the 50 gallon, I'd trade it back in at 4" or so.

I traded it for a Pinktail trigger to a friend who wanted it around 6 months ago. I had it for 2+ years and it grew from 1.5 to 4 inches roughly but stopped growing around 6 months before I traded it to my friend do to the size of my tank. He added it to a larger tank and when I saw it last time around a week ago it definitely started growing again as it was larger. Hope that helps.

How big was your tank? Mine is a red sea reefer 200, 2 ft cube, 53 gal with sump. Thanks, this is good info.
