I have three options for tanks right now and I need some help deciding:

UNS 45L
  • Pro- Already own
  • Pro- Less space = Less money
  • Con- Small size
  • Con- New filter needed
  • Con- Less water volume = less room for error
  • Con- Small size also means less stocking options
  • Con- No lid

UNS 45a
  • Pro- AIO
  • Pro- Lots of filtration space
  • Pro- Mid-sized (for me)
  • Pro- Used to have one and loved it
  • Con- AIO reduces tank volume
  • Con- Pump upgrade/extra flow possibly needed
  • Con- Skimmer slots kinda suck
  • Con- Cost per gallon is kinda high at $18.3/gal ($165 total)
  • Con- May not be produced anymore???
  • Con- No lid
IM 15 Cube
  • Pro- AIO
  • Pro- Lots of filtration
  • Pro- Larger volume = more room for error
  • Pro- Larger size = more stocking options
  • Pro- PRICE $8.4/gal ($126 after shipping)
  • Con- Barebones = money spent on upgrades
  • Con- No lid
I think I'm going IM 15 cube tbh after typing this out...

I love my Innovative marine 15 gallon! It is awesome and the lid is cheap.

Plus it comes with a pump!
