Hi reef2reef! I recently had a whole house water filtration system put in by culligan, I’m able to drink the water that comes out of the faucet now.
I was wondering if that system has any effect on my rodi water. I still have it running into my 6 stage BRS rodi system. Lately I noticed some of my sps is not doing very well. Last week I thought it could be the carbon I was using. I’m starting to think it might be the water going through the culligan system then into the rodi system that is causing some of my sps to not look so good.
What do you guys think?
Thank you for your help!

I’m curious about my water so I ordered an icp test from ati.

I'm assuming a big part of your filtration system is a water softener....and that's your friend when it comes to you RO/DI unit. What it does is replace calcium and magnesium with sodium or potassium, which are easier for your membrane to handle. So no worries....actually will extent you membrane life.

Yes, it’s a water softener system.
