My fish suddenly developed white blotches on one of it’s fins an side of it’s face so I have a couple questions.
One, what is it? Ich? Lympho? Fungus?
I tried to research but a lot of them look the same to me.
And two should I treat it immediately or wait? She has a good appetite and I feed a mix of 2-3 dry food, frozen and live brine shrimp and make sure most i put in is immediately eaten.
I never used a QT before but I recently set up another tank to grow out the brineshrimp in I can use however I dont want to add to her stress if it’s not necessary.

So I moved to QT and treated with api ich cure. I did a bout of treatment and dont see any spots. The male was pretty reclusive the first couple days and he did not eat but is now moving about the tank but not dominating it. Both fish are eating but only bbs. They only ever go after pellets when the pellets are suspended infront of their face but I can’t get the flow for that in my QT and I figure I should not overfeed the tank.
I did observe the male flashing and his one gill is discoloured and maybe inflamed. I picked up Kordon Cure All. I’m in canada so I’m very limited to what medication I can get ahold of. I’m thinking of doing a 2-3 day bout of this ich treatment then moving to hypo. Or is there a better course of action?
3 spots in photo are pods on glass.
