Can be as simple as a grain of sand which does occur but appears to be a small nick or scrape and should heal on its own however keep an eye on it for continued improvement and not infectionI noticed this small spot on my tang this morning. Swimming and eating good looks happy and normal

Tough to see in the picture. A single spot just bears watching, but if the spots come and go, change location and generally increase in numbers, it could be marine ich.

At this time I suspect it's a small injury. In the picture he has his stripes out! So, he is in fight mode. I would keep an eye on it and not do anything yet. Now, if other fish start showing spots them get back to us. Relax for now.
