I noticed this small spot on my tang this morning. Swimming and eating good looks happy and normal

Can be as simple as a grain of sand which does occur but appears to be a small nick or scrape and should heal on its own however keep an eye on it for continued improvement and not infection

Tough to see in the picture. A single spot just bears watching, but if the spots come and go, change location and generally increase in numbers, it could be marine ich.

At this time I suspect it's a small injury. In the picture he has his stripes out! So, he is in fight mode. I would keep an eye on it and not do anything yet. Now, if other fish start showing spots them get back to us. Relax for now.
