Halloween is the only time of year I feel like everyone else in the world is forced to appreciate all my favorite (non fish) things: horror movies, candy, weird costumes, and all things creepy

Think it’s very much an American thing seen it grow a bit in uk but it’s mainly kids going out for an hour getting sweets for those that will answer door,or haven’t gone to pub for night to avoid it
