I've had a coral beauty in my 125 for a couple of years...all kinds of corals and a clam...never had any serious issues.

I had a regal in my 350, was doing great, getting along with everyone but he ate my red hornet colony one day and then started picking at sps a lot. my colonies arent that big yet so I traded him out. I plan on getting a majestic and maybe another regal or emperor. I would not recommend getting an angel unless your tank is very established and has healthy large colonies in case they do decide to eat your corals.

Never has touched the clam (knock on wood, LOL). It use to pick at my Elegance before it outgrew the tank and I sold it, but never did any noticeable damage to it.

Knocked on wood too for you and your clam!LOL

I had a rock beauty angel in my 125g sps dominated mixed reef. It was 3.5yrs old when it carpet surfed : ( never touched a thing the entire time. I would have been hesitant with a clam though, but who knows.

Had a number of Angels in my 700 reef and even though my corals were growing and colorful the would not flower. Finally broke down 3 weeks ago and moved all my angels to my fish tank and now I see my sps starting to bloom.

Bump for any others out there and a quick question for regal owners. I have a opportunity to pick up a red sea regal angel that has been in a holding system for over 2 weeks. It's eating mussels and pellets like crazy. No shipping needed so not only would it he a quick pick up and no stress with shipping, but I'd see it eat! Here's my issue: if it's eating mussels that good, then my clams would be definitely on the menu I assume right? Thanks y'all
