Can someone who’s had a PC Rainbow acro confirm if they color up in 250 par or higher par?

I heard 250 for coloration 300+ for growth but they turn one color

They definitely go more solid red, to pink when in higher par. If you want those subtle yellow, orange and green colors lower par is good. 250 should keep more colors perfectly

I've never paid attention to the growth rate. I like the color variation in lower par. The gold, green, and red in 200+ par makes the coral stand out.

What is your current coloration and what do you hope to achieve? My PC Rainbow looked nice when it was in 250-300 par or so. It was a red/magenta color with a little twinge of pink and orange with good polyp extension.

I did a tank reset, fragged to a small size to match the other new coral, and the PC Rainbow turned completely green! After 9 months it is half red and half green so on the road to recovery. I have it in higher par (300-325) which is at the lower end of my current higher par setup. Still does not look as nice as it used to due to tank stability.
